About the Show
Mission 2 Zero is a mental health podcast focused on providing practical information on veteran and military suicide prevention efforts. The purpose is to sort through the conflicting and often clinically directed information to create a clear path of action for veterans, for veteran supporters and for policy and program managers.


The Host
Caitlin Julian is an Army Veteran who lost her son, Stephen, an infantry medic, to suicide. She has a Master's Degree in Mental Health and Wellness with an Emphasis in Prevention. Her area of focus was PTSD and combat related trauma. After losing her son in 2019, she then focused the rest of her program on veteran and military suicide prevention, completing a Community Development Program on Veteran and Military Suicide Prevention. She has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has served on multiple boards and committees in support of mental health and veteran suicide prevention. She shares her son's story and her story of recovery from suicide loss in hope that lives can be saved.
